Juggling

Steve and I had the Student/ Kid Shuffle going today. I had someone from 10-12, ate lunch, then was supposed to have someone from 2-4. Meanwhile, he had someone from 3:30-5:30 at Muncie, but if he did that, he couldn't have taken Kaylee to Carburetion Day tonight at Awanas for her Pinewood Derby Race. So. I pushed my 2 pm guy to 2:30 and gave him to Steve, while I picked up Kaylee from school at 3 and drove her to Kokomo, where Steve flew in from Glenndale with my student to pick her up and do takeoffs and landings at Kokomo; I hopped in the RG and flew it over to Muncie for the 3:30-5:30 instrument lesson, while Steve flew Kaylee back to Glenndale, then drove her over to her Carb. Day. That's when it's handy for both of you to be able to interchange between various tasks. :)

Apparently the good news is that Kaylee's car ran very fast on the trial track. I guess there was one other car there that was coming in at 2.68 seconds and she was running 2.70 seconds, but the rest there tonight were slower than hers. We're not sure what more we can do to her car to speed it up, and of course not everybody was there tonight, so who knows how it will pan out in the end, but Kaylee had a good time with it, and Wednesday is the day of the Big Race, so we shall see! :)
