If you came by our house today, you'd have heard it thumping. Steve gave Kaylee "Dance Central" for the Xbox 360 for Valentine's Day, and she spent hours on it. Talk about some serious exercise...that's no kidding. That Kinect is pretty cool-no mats to dance on right on the exact spot, no controllers to hold, just your body motions show up on the screen. Kaylee is moving really quickly through the moves, starting to get into the "medium" dance routines. I told her we might do a "Dance Battle" next weekend. She's had a lot of practice today, now I need to get some practice in too. I think it looks fun, and if it's fun and it's exercise at the same time, that's good for all of us. :)
It was a common day of productivity and play around here. Pancakes for breakfast, which Kaylee made and even flipped on the grill all on her own, followed by chores and cleaning and playing and dancing and watching a movie (Beverly Hills Chihuahua II) and I did some billing and some communications and a little banking and some on-line ordering of a few SMA things, caught up on most of the housework, and like I said, had a day of productivity and play...
And it was 45 degrees and sunny here today, too.
