*Yawn*

What's a girl who is trying to recover from a lot of inactivity and over-eating to do when she gets up, runs the kid to school, then has flights out at the airport from 9 a.m. through to 6 p.m. with a break long enough to run to Wendy's for lunch? Can't drink a lot of water. Those planes don't have rest rooms. Can't exactly eat small healthy meals. Makes it a little tough to get in a bit of exercise other than walking to the plane and back, pulling it out and pushing it away a few times...ah well, there will be plenty of times this winter where I'll have too much ground time. :) I was scheduled from 9-11:30 a.m., 1-3, 3-4:30, 4:30-5:30 and 5:30-6. Busy. The winds were kind of rough today, up to 28 knots 40 degrees off the runway last I heard, which made one guy cancel (so I took another guy in his slot), and my 5:30 guy canceled too at the end there, but I was still out there until about 6 doing some pretty good-sized crosswind takeoff and landing practice with folks. What's funny is that none of them made it all the way to the end of their lesson--everybody worked at it until they got a good one in, and ended there happily. It's pretty exhausting to fight it that hard for long, and I'M tired too. Hey, you try riding out practice crosswind landings at 19 gusting 28 in the pattern all day long! :)
