This whole week has been blowing like crazy. It's canceled all my primary students so far the entire week, and probably will tomorrow, too. It's kind of hard to learn how to land when you're getting blown around like a kite.
Kaylee and I went to the mall today and picked up a little something for her--boots. She is currently wearing them to Awanas, even though they are not great running shoes, and I may have trouble getting them off of her to go to bed tonight. She practiced her guitar for us tonight, and she is doing much better on the chords-not having to look at how to do at least two of them, and sounding much more proficient. And she's proud of herself, too. :)
Steve, he's just now feeling better. He spent today inside and lying down, and it wasn't until this evening that he's started getting relief. I've made three trips to a drug store and he was on the phone a couple times with a medical professional, and finally tonight I think he turned a corner, which is good, because he was in lots of pain for awhile there.
I'm fighting off something myself. Yesterday when we flew to Ohio, I fell asleep in the pilot's lounge and slept until after 11 a.m. I figured I was just tired from getting up at 6 a.m. This morning I took Kaylee to school, canceled my morning breezy flight, and went back to bed until well after 10 a.m. I wasn't up late, wasn't up early, just...tired. And stuffy. So I didn't really mind not flying today, honestly...
