Had an hour's flight this morning, but other than that it was a quiet day in aviation-land, which is unusual for such a beautiful day! It was 86 degrees here today, which is pretty strange for October, but I'm not complaining.
Kaylee's school did a cookie fundraiser through "Blondie's", and after school today we baked up a dozen of them. Blondie's makes a mean cookie, I must say. Also, Kaylee's school is doing a Dan's Fish Fry fundraiser in a couple weeks. Her school is in a financial deficit, and they are trying to do fundraisers before raising the tuition on families. If anyone around here wants a ticket to a fish fry being held Friday, October 29, between 3:30 and 7:30 p.m., let me know. I'll have tickets until the 18th, and then they'll be available at the door. :) They will have bouncy rides for the kids, hayrides, face painting, and games. Tickets are $8 each for adults, $6 for kids, and preschoolers and under are free, and it's being held at Morning Star Church, in their big annex building on the north side of the parking lot. "Dan's" is famous around here for his fish and his tenderloins. Very good stuff. :)
