I lost my morning to what we'll call a headache. I slept in, was up for about an hour and a half, and had to go back to bed for awhile, sick as a dog. I wasn't the only one-Steve and Kaylee both also had headaches that required some Tylenol, but fortunately we all seem to be fine this evening. :)

We seem to be hosting the unkillable bees. There is a bee hive off of our deck, and today Steve sealed it off, leaving a lot of unhappy bees on the outside trying to get in and I'm sure a lot of unhappy bees on the inside trying to get out. He sprayed them down with wasp killer stuff, with, well, I don't know what all he tried. He tried various things off the internet. Nothing killed the bees. That wasp spray, you spray that on a wasp and it drops in its tracks right then and there. The bees just drank it and moved on. So I went to the store looking for something to kill bees. Nothing. You can kill ants, roaches, spiders, mice, flies, fleas, wasps, yellow jackets, hornets, scorpions, slugs, "all flying bugs" and all "house bugs", but not one thing says it will kill bees. I got another brand of wasp/hornet/yellowjacket spray to try, and that did nothing to these things either. Steve stood out there and took the hose to them, all these poisons, and not only did nothing kill them/chase them off, none of them even stung him. So we have some kind of extremely hardy bees out here. (And yes, we all had headaches BEFORE he started spraying poisons around outside. ;))
