Pedal Pedal Pedal...Wait, What?

Man. Today my schedule is open as far as the calendar is concerned, but I'm running around finishing up what I can and getting ready for what I can. Today is the end of the month (ack), and tomorrow my schedule has an overlapping problem. I was supposed to have a student in the morning and a student in the afternoon. Then the trip pops up, so I push back afternoon student into the evening and morning student has to change days. Then a birthday celebration dinner for a friend pops up for tomorrow evening in Indy, and Steve has the same overlapping problem I do, but we'll get it worked out...and then comes Friday, the day before our air show. Something tells me the end of the month's stuff will be once again the beginning of next month stuff instead.

For now it's time to get weather, charts/maps ready for tomorrow's trip, contact a few of the warbird guys about the weekend, enter what billing I can, hit the banks and post office, make an emergency stop for household products, and keep on pedaling!

Ha, what are the odds?! I just yesterday was talking about UFO hunting, and this afternoon I get a call from the gentleman I've flown around before, asking if I would take him up so he could get aerial photographs of a local crop circle. Apparently today was a "High activity silver orb spotting" day, and he wanted to know if we'd been up flying and seen anything ourselves. And this is what I love about my job. Yesterday I go up hunting a stolen tractor. This evening I go up to take photos of UFO...tracks. Tomorrow morning I fly businessmen to Michigan. Saturday I fly a T-6 and race against a dragster in a small air show. Who says being an airline pilot is the best flying job around??
