This morning I had a checkout flight with someone I didn't know in an airplane neither of us had ever been in before. It was a nice flight, nice airplane, unusual avionics, a new purchase for the couple, and he needed the checkout for insurance before flying it home. When we got down, I had several errands to run, and made it back to Glenndale for fried chicken just in time. Left there to run a few more errands before going out to Kokomo to do a flight review in the RG. We went to an airport not too far away that has a 29' wide runway, which was made more interesting by the Ag pilots that were swooping around in all directions not using radios. (I swear that looks like fun to me.) The runway may be no biggie in the RG, but I decided I wouldn't be bringing the T-6 in there for a landing just yet...
Steve's been working hard on the air show for tomorrow, actually several people are working hard to get everything ready for tomorrow. The weather looks good, thankfully. We're going to hit the ground running bright and early tomorrow and hope for the best!
