evening Chuck and Judy brought their trailer out to Kokomo Airport and brought along Maggie and Hannah, so we took Kaylee out and the girls got a chance to play outside for several hours. Kaylee needed the fresh air and exercise, that's for sure! The girls rode bikes and scooters, rolled down the grass hill, played tag and detective and all sorts of fun games, and ended the night wrapped up in blankets sitting around a fire roasting marshmallows at sunset. Kaylee was not happy to go home!I brought some food out, and Judy had some more food there, so we had a nice dinner in the hangar. A club member was out flying the Decathlon, another club member was practicing take offs and landings in the 172 with our new instructor Scott, Bob flew down to Indy and back in the Saratoga, and got back at sunset just as Steve was taking me around the pattern in the Chief. The winds calmed down, the sky was beautiful, and it was a lovely evening for a flight...

p.s. In the last two days I had two different people out of the blue ask me if I'd lost weight. As a matter of fact, I've been working on that for almost two months now, and I've lost 13 pounds so far. I can't really tell yet, other than my jeans fit better, but apparently it's slightly noticeable at least. I'm glad-I've been exercising more, eating less, drinking more water, and basically trying to behave. ;)
