I think Steve put something in my water bottle first thing this morning, because about 30 minutes after I woke up, I grabbed my stack of paperwork that had been growing on my side of the desk and got to work. After I got that pile organized with the junk thrown out, the appropriate stuff filed in SMA, flying and personal filing locations, and the remaining Things To Do separated into their appropriate folders, I moved on to the pile of paperwork I had hidden in a cabinet under the scanner and got it all taken care of. Then I moved on to the papers in my original "inbox" on the desk. Then I hit the small pile under the little chair area and got IT taken care of too. Since I was on such a roll, I went ahead and updated my logbook, too. My areas are now pristine. I think Steve may swoon. ;)
Meanwhile, Steve went on a tear of his own, went through a bunch of paperwork on his end, shredded, tossed and organized a bunch of stuff, and we are feeling quite accomplished. However, nobody is allowed to send me anything else in the mail. No bills, no insurance papers, no letters, no school papers, no doctor notices, no bank statements. I like not having a single piece of paper lying around out of place. But tomorrow is Monday, and Monday is a mail day. You wouldn't think little pieces of paper could bury you, but they can. You also would think it was easy to just deal with one or two pieces as they come in and not end up with a pile, but it's not as easy as it sounds to some of us. :) In fact, I actually get a small pile every day, just from Kaylee's school alone. Anyway, I think maybe it will be a little better now that things are a bit better organized, and that pleases me. I'm considering knocking off some of my email work too, but my inbox only has a dozen things in it and I'm not that far off on it, and maybe I've had enough work for one day. ;)
