We took advantage of the blue sunshiny day, even though the airplanes tried a revolt on us. The first airplane that was supposed to fly today wouldn't start. Fortunately another airplane was available to take over. Along came the next flight in a different airplane, and that one had a mechanical issue as well, this one taking it off the schedule for at least the next week--you know, during the one week of good weather we've had in a month. At least the first airplane is fixed and most of the people can go in other airplanes even if it's not a perfect solution. My flight came along next, and we ended up at Muncie for lunch with the Baron, Saratoga, Viking, and C-172. My student and I were in the 172, so we were the last ones there and the last ones home, too, by a long shot. It just meant we got to enjoy the day a little longer. ;)
Steve had flights until dark, and Kaylee had Awanas tonight for the first time since before Christmas. Life is rolling on.
One thing that did kind of crack me up though. As I was driving home from the airport, I had to make a sudden stop because of someone pulling in front of me. As I hit the brakes, I also pulled back on my steering wheel. It's an airplane thing...
