Saturday Stillness

I guess 24 hours of stomach misery is better than 10-14 days of viral nasal misery that you sometimes get, if you have to get anything at all. I slept until 11 a.m. today and woke up feeling much better. Dehydrated like crazy-it took me all day of drinking water, orange juice, etc. to finally rehydrate, and I've got a headache probably from that, but all in all not bad for as sick as I was.

Kaylee's great, and has enjoyed the snow we've gotten here. She's running around drawing her name in the snow with a stick, eating snow balls, making little snow men, letting the cats out to play in it, and generally enjoying herself. She's also good about playing by herself. For awhile, nobody wanted to play, so she played "hide and seek" with the cats. She'd count to 20 or 30, then she'd go find the cats and 'tag' them. They caught on to the fact that she was coming after them, so eventually they would hide/run from her a little better. That's inventive if nothing else. She tried to hide and let them find her, but she was disappointed in their lack of effort of looking for her. ;) Here she is, having a little fun in the snow...
