Here's a progress shot of our bathroom floor. Actually, all of the sub-flooring is down now, so this progress shot is a bit out of date, but I didn't feel like taking another. :) It took a lot of time to get done what he did get done over the weekend, and I heard much muttering and gnashing of teeth in there, but there IS progress. I am thankful that we have a second bathroom, that's for sure!I was the Master (Mistress) of Timing today. When I left my house this morning, I had several errands to run and I wasn't sure of how much time many of them would take. I ended up making a bank deposit, shipping off some SMA supplies, going to the eye doctor and getting a pair of Steve's glasses repaired, dropping off a computer to be repaired, then stopping at the grocery store. I pulled out of the grocery store and into the parking lot of the Mexican restaurant right at 11:45 a.m., which was the exact time I was supposed to be there. I thought that was pretty good. The rest of the day was fairly busy too, and the timing worked out well, but not down to the minute like that. :) I had a short flight this afternoon in KS doing slips, stalls, steep turns, tols, etc., and brought Kaylee a peace offering of a raspberry shake when I picked her up late from school out of "after care". I got a lot of billing done and several other errands I ended up making, and all in all it was a pretty busy day.
Steve's day was pretty well congested too-he got home sometime after 10:30 p.m. from Muncie, which he had driven to. That he drove is only important because he ended up getting a speeding ticket on his way home from Muncie tonight. This would usually be cause for a little bit of merriment from me considering how much flak he gives me for my driving, but this time it has to be cause for just a little bit of a smirk because he's had a really rough time since about Friday night when absolutely nothing he's done or touched has gone very well. If I started listing out everything that's gone wrong, broke, not worked, fitzed out or fallen through, it would just be depressing, so I won't. It was actually the same kind of thing that got me last year--a transition from a 55 to a 45 and a police officer waiting there and pulling over a bunch of people at once who didn't get down to 45 in time. Steve doesn't usually go more than about 4 mph over the speed limit on the main roads, and he wasn't tonight either...just didn't get down to the 45 right at the sign. Kind of frustrating. But it's still fodder for me. Just not today. ;)
