More flying around in KS this morning, on a beautiful sunshiny day. The winds picked up a little bit by the time we were done, adding in a nice little impromptu crosswind practice, which he nailed nicely at 70 degrees off the runway up to 15 knots, which for you non-pilot folks is very good for a student. Or even for plenty of non-students. :)
Kaylee "rocked" her spelling test, and is having fun at school right now with a Pilgrim project they are working on. Her Pilgrim name is "Constance", and she likes that. :) They're doing a presentation for the First Graders I guess, with a diorama of Pilgrim life.
I saw my first Christmas commercial two nights ago, for Wal-Mart. Since then I've seen several more holiday commercials. A little early, don't you think? We just passed Halloween for heaven's sake!
Fall has fallen. the beautiful leaves have blown off the trees, and everything is turning brown and stark. At least we're supposed to get weather in the 60s this weekend, and I will hold out for the last bit of nice weather that I can get for as long as I can get it.
