Getting Comfy

Kaylee's first full day of school was today, and she wore a nice jean dress with a pink belt, under which she had a white shirt (it was a spaghetti strap dress) and a pair of shorts (so she can play on the playground "safely"). When I picked her up from school today, there was no sign of the dress. It had gotten in her way so she just took it off and ran around in the shirt and shorts all day. Annnnd...that's the end dressing up for school, apparently. ;)

I flew the Citabria this morning with Kent-let him do it from takeoff to landing on the way to Sheridan. We flew for a bit in the 172, then he took the 172 solo again. (Logbook stuff). I flew home-I hadn't flown the Citabria for awhile so that was nice. Steve tried to get me in trouble though-he about had Chuck convinced it was a pretty day to go fly the Citabria when he hit him up with the fact that I'd stolen it for the morning. Fortunately Chuck didn't mind. :)

I get to go do some of that tedious-sounding work stuff, but I'll leave you with these. I saw them on the "air show buzz" website: Low passes, compliments Dale "Snort" Snodgrass.

“We can easily manage if we will only take, each day, the burden appointed to it. But the load will be too heavy for us if we carry yesterday's burden over again today, and then add the burden of the morrow before we are required to bear it.” ~John Newton
