This morning was Kaylee's first swim lesson of the year, and that excited her a lot. She loves to go play in the water, but she can't really swim yet, so she's in Level Two of the swim classes at a local pool. She came away from today's class successfully getting stuff off the bottom of the pool, doing a back float, and a push-off from the side with her face down in the water. All things she really doesn't like to do because she hates getting her face wet-which is a bit of a roadblock in learning to swim or playing in...water. :)
The rest of the day consisted of her wanting lots of cuddle time, me doing a lot of laundry, which, by the way, is amazing how that works. You do all your laundry before you leave. You're only gone for one full day and two half days. You come home and have five loads of laundry to do. What's up with that? Anyway. Steve's been at the office all day trying to finish up things he's been working on for two weeks, and I still have some things to unpack and take care of.
I do have a few photos from the weekend, but not as many as you would think. For one thing, I left my good camera on, draining the battery down. Chuck left his camera at home. I got a few photos on my good camera, a few photos on my little Canon, a few videos that Steve took, and from there on out I'm relying on the photography kindness of others. :) Justin took some, and Trey said he took some for me, and when I get everything I'll stick some of them up for you...
