Friday Again

Uh-oh. Kaylee has a fever, her head hurts, she is wrapped up in a blanket because she says she is cold, and yet her face is flushed and hot. Sore throat, runny nose. She was fine this morning, then felt a little bad when I picked her up from school, and I gave her some medicine thinking it was allergies. I laid down on the couch for a minute and she passed out cold on top of me. THAT never happens. I got up and left the house for an appointment, and when I got home she was as described. Oh, great....it looks like a virus or maybe even flu, and it came on fast. She breathed and sneezed right on my face when she was sleeping on me, so I'm toast. Steve is contemplating bubble-wrapping himself since at least one of us needs to not be sick and still work.

It was a full day. I left the house around 8 a.m. and I didn't get back home for the day until just after 8 p.m. I had a 1.3 hour flight this morning with KL, and got done in time for lunch, ran some errands, got Kaylee, got my motorcycle plates renewed and some stuff from the store, came home and passed out for 30 minutes with Kaylee, then went back out to Kokomo for awhile. I got the fridges restocked with the necessary beverages and Trey drove a long way to come up and take some up close and personal photos of all the parts of the T-6 for future training purposes for the WTC...

Today is my Mom's birthday. :) She kind of gets all the holidays crammed into one weekend. Her anniversary, her birthday and Mother's Day are all within just a few days of each other. Kind of a ripoff for her, probably, but Happy Mother's Anniversary Birthday anyway!

Kaylee brought home an invitation to a classmate's birthday party, and giggled when she handed it to me. The party is for May 16th, of course.

Happy Friday...
