Spring Break

Spring Break around here this year doesn't mean Florida's Sun-n-Fun like it did last year, and it doesn't mean a vacation for anybody but Kaylee, either. But it does mean she and I get to sleep in a little bit if we want to. :) It also means no ballet, tap, gymnastics or Awanas, which would be good if we were going somewhere, and kind of boring since we aren't.

We didn't really do much today. She played Wii Music quite a bit today, making music videos, creating her own jacket art, and wandering around the game learning how to do it. It's good for rhythm, pitch, different types of instruments, harmony, all sorts of good music things. We also went to lunch with most of the usual suspects, fighting off cold gray snow flurries that shouldn't be here in the middle of Spring.

After lunch I went out to the airport to pay a bill and mostly put the T6 back in order for its rightful owner. :) I showed Kaylee a video that Justin took of the T-6 on start-up and a couple takeoffs and landings, and during the start-up I didn't have my helmet on (I have awhile to wait and let it warm up after it starts, so sometimes I do that during that time). She watched for awhile, and as the prop started blowing my hair around in the sun, she pointed at it and said "Mommy, your hair looks like it's on fire!" Once she said that, I thought...it kind of does. :)

Kaylee watered all of her Grandma's flowers today because she said they looked droopy, which took her five trips with the watering can, but unfortunatly tonight we are supposed to get a big freeze. I'm not sure if they can survive that, which will bum her out. But it was nice of her to do that...
