Do I Detect A Heartbeat There?

Another peaceful night passed here as the Zyrtec helped Kaylee get some sleep. She still woke up and then promptly stuffed up again this morning, which still tells me it isn't 24 hour coverage, but like I said, I'm grateful that she can finally rest at night. The first night she took Zyrtec, I went to check on her before I went to bed sometime after midnight, and I couldn't hear her breathing at all-and usually she's a heavy breather. I stared at her for awhile and couldn't see anything either, so I poked my finger under her nose to feel her breath. I know, it's not like SIDS hits 8-year-olds, but YOU try to go to sleep after you wonder why you couldn't hear/see your daughter breathing after they took a new medicine the first time and you didn't check. She'll be 16 and wiped out after a busy day of teenager stuff and I'll look in on her and probably still stick my finger under her nose and make sure she's okay. What can I say?? ;)

She had a spelling test today which she aced. Words like "languages" and I just forgot the rest of the words, but it's at a level now where if she asks her dad to spell it for her, he may or may not be right without spellchecker. ;)

The airplanes we have that are operational are very busy this week finally! I had a flight this morning at 9 with someone, and then the airplane was booked solid after me all day until 7:30 p.m. And it's a good day for it, too, even if a little chillier than it has been. The schedule is coming alive as Spring brings forth the inner airborne addicts from hibernation.

The skies over Kokomo are once again being menaced by a Citabria and a T-6. The Citabria was finished up and flown yesterday and brought home today by Chuck, and Nathan finished up and got the 6 in the air yesterday too. Chuck generously offered to let me fly the Citabria home, but a man deserves to fly his own airplane first when it's been down for two months, you know?

But I am cooooming.
Muhahahaha.
