I entered time sheets at the office today until it was time to get Kaylee from school. On the way home from school, she was telling me that she needs to work on her multiplication because when they do flash cards, she's not very fast at it. So I went to Staples and picked up multiplication flash cards to go over with her. She gets the concept just fine and can figure out the answer, she just doesn't have the tables memorized so isn't fast at it. Her question when we got home was "Mommy, will you explain division to me? Here is a handful of sweettarts you can use." :) She's been doing fractions just fine for awhile now, and she got division, but not really. A pen, a piece of paper and a bunch of sweettarts later, she walked away and said "Thank you for explaining division to me. I get it." She's so polite and sweet. :)
I had a school board meeting tonight for just over two hours, Steve worked until 7:30 and Kaylee had cheer practice until 7:30 too; it was a busy Monday, as usual...
