Quietly

I seem to have run out of chatty a bit, but I'm not worried-I'll come back with too much verbosity soon enough, I know. :)

Yesterday was supposed to be another cheer game for Kaylee, and we ended up with a winter weather advisory and the game being cancelled, after we cancelled other plans so we would be here this weekend for her game. *sigh* Worst of all, we didn't know all day whether it was cancelled or not, so I called her cheer person who said "so far it's on, we haven't heard any different, just keep an eye on the news for cancellations." So I do, and as of the time to go, it was not up any different than it had been when I called. We all get dressed and go out there only to find it deserted, go home, and turn on the tv and NOW it says that it's cancelled. The internet and TV didn't match on what was cancelled for the same station, and I'd been just looking on the internet. Talk about irritating. Nobody from cheer called to tell us it was cancelled, though they did last Tuesday, and then my bad fortune to be using a media that for some reason didn't get updated properly...I could have assumed the game was cancelled, but the weather was not that bad, it didn't say it was on the closings page, and nobody called, so I just knew we would not go only to find out the game was on and Kaylee's group couldn't do their stunts because she wasn't there. Oh well, I suppose the little family drive was good for us. ;)

It's been a rest at home day. A little cleaning, a little playing, a little resting, a little relaxing, a little work...
