The girls were awake until sometime past 11 p.m. last night before finally giving up the ghost, and were back up around 8. I went out and picked up Kaylee's cake and some last minute things at CVS, and then around 12:30 we went to the bowling alley and set stuff up. Jamie & Gwenie, Maggie, and Grace were there, and then four kids from Kaylee's school were there as well. I have to admit, I am glad that the party is done. Kaylee had a great time Friday and Saturday both, and I am thankful to everyone who came, and even more thankful to everyone who came who had RSVPd and let me know they were coming. :)
When we got home from the party, we cleaned the house up, then I tried to lay down for a few minutes, but Kaylee kept coming in and talking to me, so I gave up after 30 minutes, got up and got ready, and had a night flight tonight with a student.
It was Cold out there. I was cold for almost 3 hours straight, cold enough that on my drive home with the heater blasting I could still feel the cold seeping out of my legs, and my fingers are still sore. I got home after 10 pm, with a little stop at Taco Bell since I hadn't eaten much today, and am ready for some R&R...
