Polar PJ Day

These are the last few days before Kaylee's Christmas Vacation, and they are winding down with a few fun days. Today was Pajama/Polar Express Day, and the kids got to bring their sleeping bag, pillow, slippers, and wear pajamas while having fun snacks and watching "Polar Express". She had a great day!

I didn't have a bad day either, particularly since the icy roads this morning meant another 2-hour delay, only this time I slept like a rock and woke up feeling quite refreshed. I got my stuff done for the day, helped Kaylee learn a few sections for Awanas, etc.

The weather really stinks, and it hit us earlier than it usually does. I was supposed to have a night flight tonight with a student, but when I checked, the runway, taxiway and ramps there are all covered in a sheet of ice. No braking. I decided that flying off a skinny runway at night with a student in nothing but a sled didn't seem like a good time to me, and passed.

Have I mentioned how much I love winter?

*sigh*
