Double Yawn!

I couldn't fall asleep last night, and once I finally did it was well past 1 a.m.; unfortunately Kaylee woke up sometime after 4 a.m. and woke me, and once I woke back up I couldn't get back to sleep again. I laid very still and tried to play dead, but I was still awake when my alarm went off.

After I took Kaylee to school, I went back to Glenndale and flew with Greg Koontz for about an hour, hit lunch with everybody, picked up Kaylee from school and took her to ballet, then came back to the airport that afternoon to fly one more time with Greg in his Decathlon. We ended up flying about three hours total, and it was good. I've got a few things I can take from that and go polish up on my own. I was a little worried when I got there this morning, because I was so sleepy that I was worried I wouldn't be able to focus. Fortunately once I got going I was fine, and I didn't end up getting hit with the full sleep attack until about 7 p.m. I was still out at Glenndale by then, so I packed up Kaylee and came on home and am doing what I can to not fall asleep until bed time so I don't get into a bad sleep cycle. I'll probably wake back up around 10 pm anyway, per my usual second wind no matter what sleep I have or haven't gotten. :)

Kaylee had another great day at school, and Steve is doing fine. He was right behind me at the office, but that was almost an hour ago, so I'm guessing he got distracted or someone stopped in and needed something, as usual. :)

Our day in a nutshell!
