Winter Wonderland

Blah. Well, it spat snow and sleet most of the day, making the roads fairly slick, and providing a little accumulation, but nothing too exciting. Heard from my mom that their area has lost power, with some 60,000 people still out of power, that trees have snapped all over under the weight of the ice, that ice has shut down the city, businesses, schools, etc. We got lucky compared to that.

This morning on the way to school, a song came on "Celebrate, Jesus Celebrate". Kaylee pipes up from the back seat and says "I think it's a rather gloomy morning to 'celebrate', don't you??" That's my morning girl. ;)

Steve and Nathan went to a Purdue game tonight, so I watched a couple of movies while I made some more entries on the computer for SMA stuff. Tomorrow Kaylee and I have to get all her Valentines ready, and get her Book in a Bag project(s) all finished up too, plus homework, plus go to Awanas. *sigh* School shouldn't be as much work for ME as it is for HER, should it, and should it be that much work for her at this age?? I guess so...

Poor Hillary had a bad day today, I was so sad to see it. (Not.)

The Tuesday Top Ten looks to be Random Thoughts for the Day, but I don't think I have the energy tonight...besides, I think this is random enough. ;)
