Super Tuesday

Well, not in Indiana it isn't. Nooo, we don't get to vote until May, long after everything else has mostly been decided. Why do they let Iowa go first anyway? I lived in Iowa, there's not that much there. ;) Why does oh say Oklahoma get to go today and not Indiana and who decides these things anyway? Now I suppose some smart-aleck girlfriend of mine is going to send me a link that has the answers to these questions...

It was a pretty busy Tuesday though. Again we woke up to dense fog but no school delays. Kaylee was supposed to wear her Colts Gear if she had any for a photo that was to be taken at school that's to be auctioned off along with a signed copy of Tony Dungee's book "Quiet Strength" for a school fundraiser. So I put her in her Colts cheerleader outfit (and a pair of modest pants underneath) and sent her off to school for the photo. I did my Errand Run, worked at home for a little while, hit the Half Moon for lunch with the fellows, and then went back to the office for the afternoon to fold/stuff/lick the bills for the airport. When I left there to pick up Kaylee at school, I stopped by the mass mailing facility to drop the bills off, and as always came out smelling like stale cigarettes. That place is SO nasty-you walk in, you set the mail down on a table right by the door, you walk out, and you smell like stale smoke for hours, in your hair, your clothes. Yuck.

After school today I took Kaylee to McDonald's PlayLand. Tuesdays are one of her days "off", and usually we just chill out at home...when she doesn't feel like doing that, I'll take her to go play for awhile. There weren't ANY kids there when we got there, and we waited about an hour--just when I told her we'd leave and come back another day, in walked 6 kids at once, so I was in for the long haul. :) We came home, she did her homework and ate dinner since she ironically enough doesn't like McDonald's food, and then it was time for Kaylee to go to bed.

As for us, we are bemoaning the fact that There Is Nothing On TV. I mean nothing. The few TV shows that are on are reruns, even on the Discovery Channel. I don't wanna watch any more returns and speculation on who is ahead in what state for the primaries. (insert whiny voice here). I should've picked up a movie while I was out. *sigh*
