Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Oh MAN is it cold right now. Yuck yuck yuck!

I woke up fairly early this morning, and it was just Cold. We had a few problems here and there that I don't feel like complaining about today, :), and then got in the 172RG and flew to Cape Girardeau. It was about 17 below zero Celsius up at 6,000', and at one point Kaylee opened the air vent in the back seat and was letting the breeze blow on her face. She got mad at me when I made her close it. Crazy girl.

It was an uneventful flight, which is a good thing. We arrived in time for lunch, and stopped and had Mexican. Tonight we opened Christmas presents, and had a Barbie Fairytopia Birthday Cake for the girl who turns SEVEN in just a few days. :)

Kaylee has wanted to sleep on the top bunk of the room she stays in at Grandma & Grandpa Shaffer's house ever since she was old enough to talk about it. This time we decided to let her do it. There are no rails up there, no steps to get up or down, and it is on a hardwood floor, and it's pretty high up--thus the 'no' so far. But the kid has only ever fallen out of bed once in her life. Still, looking at the drop is a little unnerving, so we put a board across one side, and flipped the mattress from the bottom bunk up on its side long-ways and put it up against the bed too. She then proceeded to tell us how she could still fall out of bed if she went this way or that way. So I ended up telling her just to sleep like normal and she'd be fine. I swear, if she falls out of that thing... *sigh* :)

Now, while it's not late compared to how late I normally stay up, I'm TIRED for some reason, so I think I'll head off and get some sleep!
