You and Mii make Wii!

Kaylee woke up this morning to this sight:

We turned it on for her (we had to play with it until 1:40 a.m. just to make sure it all worked, you know!), and she played that thing for over an hour and a half straight. Bowling, tennis, golf and baseball. We didn't have the remote for boxing hooked up yet. She played for so long she forgot to stop and eat breakfast-and this is the girl who is usually a little munster if she doesn't get her food first thing. :) We did up our Wii characters too, to look as much like us as we could pull off. They didn't have ball caps for Steve, so we just had to make him look cooler with sunglasses. He didn't like the lipstick and eyeshadow I gave his Wii for awhile, but Kaylee appreciated it. ;)

Anyway, that took up most of the morning when we should have been doing other productive things...like packing. After lunch I ran Kaylee to Wal-Mart, where she bought two Nintendo cartridges with her Christmas money, and I bought one too. I bought a memory aid game. Which is ironic because the other main reason I went to Wal-Mart was to get kitty litter. Which I forgot. *sigh*

I ran her home, and we started packing right away. The weather isn't looking great for tomorrow, and it would take about 4 hours to fly including the hour plus drive to the airport for those picking us up, all the double loading, etc., and it's only a six hour drive. So...we're going to head off to Tennessee in about an hour here, driving. *gasp!* :) Kaylee has a fully charged Nintendo to play, two new games to conquer, and a DVD player to watch. She'll be much better entertained than the rest of us. Oh yes, and ear buds to wear so she can enjoy it by herself. Have I ever mentioned...I LOVE technology! Muhaha!

Okay, I have to finish packing before Steve gets home so we can be ready to take off asap. Catch you later! Here's a photo of Pajama Kaylee Bowling this morning...
