Wednesday: Hump Day Already! :O

Man, these days are flying by. We leave again Friday for the weekend; Aurora, KY. I thought it would slow down after September, but I was wrong. It'll be after October. Well, until we leave for Disney in November anyway. One of these weekends, I am not going anywhere or doing anything but sit in my pajamas and read two books in a row. Another weekend I need to spend doing nothing but catching up SMA stuff. Another weekend I need to spend doing nothing but house work.

I mostly did house and computer stuff today. I'm down to 75 emails in my inbox from a couple hundred, and my laundry is almost all clean again, but I still didn't put a dent in what needs done.

I drove out of my driveway today and there were a ton of leaves on the ground. They weren't there yesterday, were they? That tree wasn't four different colors yesterday either! Wow, I guess when Fall hits, it hits with a bang this year. My favorite season-right before my least favorite season.

Kaylee is reading me books at night. I really enjoy listening to her read to me...

Yesterday morning she was finishing up some of her homework, and there was no note included with it, so I asked her what she was supposed to do and she responded "I forget". I said "You forgot what you're supposed to do?" She replied "It was two days ago! I'm only six! How am I supposed to remember? I'm just a kid!" That cracked me up.

Today I took Kaylee to McDonald's PlayLand after school, because she's been begging to go for a long time. We waited for our food for 14 minutes. No kidding. There was one guy behind the counter, two people back there cooking, and several annoyed customers. I wasn't one of them-I had nowhere to go for the next hour anyway-but there were a LOT of angry people. That was pretty bad, but it was nice that I wasn't the one in a hurry for once. :)

We came home in time to get ready for Awanas, and after I dropped her off, Steve and I headed to Half Moon with Chuck, Judy, Dan and Marilyn. It was a fun evening. :)
