Update

Well, things were looking up this morning. Kaylee didn't eat much, but she'd drink water, and she was fairly active, talkative and cheerful. She kept me busy. By the time lunch was over, she still wouldn't eat, so we made Jell-O molds in the shape of Jelly Beans, and she ate a few of those before claiming she was stuffed. Later that evening I still couldn't get her to eat any more, so we made chocolate chip cookies, and that did the trick. She ate two little ones, and then said she was still hungry, but wouldn't eat oatmeal or bananas, so I convinced her to have some Cheerios. That's all the food I got in her today, other than two bites of chicken pasta casserole before bed.

Some time around 4 pm, Kaylee laid back down on the couch, and passed out for over an hour and a half. I was watching her sleep, and I could see her cheeks getting that flushed look; sure enough, by the time she woke up, she had over 101.7 F fever. Her head has been hurting her all day, even with Tylenol or Motrin. The rest of the afternoon went downhill for her. Her energy dropped, her temperature rose, her appetite dropped, and she complained about her head hurting a lot. She perked up again shortly before Steve got home, after another dose of Motrin, and we played CandyLand. She'd only been in bed for 10 minutes when she came back out crying, having thrown up again--for the first time since 6 a.m. :( So...I'm hoping we all get a little better rest tonight, but I won't hold my breath just yet.
