Kaylee's bedtime. This morning after dropping Kaylee off, I caught up on a few emails, ran the errands, and then got the call that the GPS at Muncie was done. Great! I pulled up the weather, and that wasn't quite so great. There was no rain yet, but it was coming, and the visibilities were about 5 miles and haze (which is fine, but not beautiful). I looked at the weather and decided if I left ASAP, I could get to Muncie and back before the rain moved in, so I hopped it out to the airport and
took off. That was probably the fastest trip I've ever taken to Muncie. I landed, got a golf cart ride to the office, picked up the part, hiked back out to the plane, fired back up and took off before the engines had quit ticking. On my way home I had this lovely view of the weather ahead. The hot pink line is where I was flying, the KOKK in white in the center is the airport I was going to, and the green/yellow/red probably speaks for itself. :) This is the view on the Avidyne for those who wonder what I look at in the airplane that tells me things like weather. Anyway, I landed, put the Baron away, wiped it down, and as I was closing the hangar door, it started raining. It didn't rain hard at least, letting me get to my car in peace. From there I headed right to Applebees for lunch with Judy and the other usual suspects. Left there to run out to a business in the middle of nowhere to pick up a computer (three large glasses of iced tea is a bad plan if you're going to be driving for an hour afterwards!), ran the computer over to the computer fixing place, and then I have this hour here now.Shortly I'm going to leave to grab Kaylee from school and take her directly to gymnastics for an hour, after which we are going to head home to change clothes and go right back out to her school's Book Fair and Ice Cream Social. Kaylee has made a Wish List of books she would like me to buy her, and is excited about the Book Fair. Then it'll be 7-8 pm and time to get her ready for bed, and probably me too. ;)
How is that for a fascinating day in Laura's/Laurie's Loopy Life? Sorry, it is what it is, and I've now got 40 minutes, which I'm going to go spend more wisely than this! :P
