I can not wake up today. I couldn't go to sleep last night and I woke up early this morning. I tried to pretend like I was still sleeping, but I was unfortunately awake. Thank you, mind, for spinning around and thinking about stuff instead of letting me get some sleep! :O Now I'm dragging.
Swim lessons resumed today. Mean Momma was there with her little boy, who today got in the water without causing any more ruckus. Kaylee did better on her dog paddling attempts today. On our way to swim lesson, Kaylee said "Did you see that little boy who wouldn't get in the water last time?" I said yes. She said "Did you see how his mommy was talking and acting?" I said yes, and asked what she thought about it. She was quiet for a second, and then said "I don't think his mommy had a very good heart when she did that." She also said she didn't like watching what happened, that it made her feel really bad, and that if the lady did it again, she was going to dunk under water so she couldn't hear her, and cry for the little boy. I had already decided that if we had the beginnings of a repeat of the other day, that rather than confront the woman myself, I would go to the pool management and have them deal with her. I'm not usually the 'snitch to authorities' type person, but I'm sure they don't want her behaving that way in their pool, either. Anyway, she didn't, so hopefully it was just one (very) bad day.
Kaylee and I ate lunch with the boys, ran out to Kokomo to pick up a GPS from Nathan, on to Glenndale to check out the addition and drop off the GPS to a pilot there, and home to play dress-up and eat snacks. Well, that's what Kaylee did anyway. ;)
I was "indisposed" and Kaylee had her princess gown on backwards. I told her she'd have to take care of it herself, and she ran crying across the house sobbing "FINE! FORGET about my DREAMS! Just FORGET it!" I couldn't choose between laughing at the drama and annoyance at the attitude for a second there.
It was a beautiful day to fly; unfortunately I was too out of it to appropriately do so. Maybe tomorrow...tonight if I can wake UP, I need to do some website work for Cscape and a few SMA things as well. Now aren't you interested in knowing that?
*Yawn*
