Well, we got Kaylee's last report card too, and she had all "E's" for the last quarter too. And no missed days. In fact, she didn't miss a single day for 3/4 of the year, and that 3rd quarter she missed 1.5 days thanks to the flu bug that went around her class. The only comments in that section were "Promoted To First Grade".
Today I'm decluttering, cleaning, doing laundry, paying bills, going through Kaylee's school stuff, organizing my photos, having Kaylee clean her room, and in general just staying plenty busy. I'm trying to use today as a "catch-up" day on house stuff. I'm caught up on my email inbox, caught up on my inbox paperwork, caught up on cleaning off my desk, caught up on doing laundry (just have to put it all away now). I still have a ton to do, but I like having progress at least. I took our "FLYER" out to the post office for our "Poker Run" fundraising aviation event, got and opened all my mail and took care of it right away, cleaned up the kitchen, got the trash ready, gone through a bunch of Kaylee's things and throw away stuff she'd never throw away but will never miss if *I* throw it away. You know, THAT kind of day. It would also be a beautiful flying day, but it makes it tougher with Kaylee out of school. I need to go back up in the Cub, and I need to go in the Decathlon, and I need to practice a few WAAS and regular approaches in the Baron too. In a couple of weeks here, there will be a summer camp that lasts for 5 days from 9am to noon for Kaylee. I think she'll enjoy doing it by then, and I'll use that time to get in some of the flying I need to do...
Okay, better not stall out here, I'll go keep moving so I can finish up some more stuff on my catch-up stay-home day. :)
