Thursday

This morning after dropping Kaylee off at school, I headed to Kokomo to go flying in the Citabria with Chuck. Unfortunately the Citabria had other ideas, and we pushed it back into the hangar with the smell of hot electonics in the air...

I picked Kaylee up at school, and she said to me "Me and Abby were the only kids here today!" Me stopping and saying "What? Why?" "Because everybody else is home sick today!" Ohhhh Gooodie. Her entire Kindergarten class was home sick. Nice. :O

Steve came home from work today, and HIS throat is sore and it hurts when he sneezes. One more "oh goodie". So far, I feel fine, thank you. Kaylee seems to be fine as well so far. Thankfully. Steve isn't "down" yet, but he's headed that way. *sigh*

After I picked up Kaylee from school, I took her to McDonald's Playland for a treat. We were there for two hours, and as always she was the last one standing. She'll play with whomever is there for as long as someone is there to play. She loves that place and making little friends. I sit with a book and read and drink Diet Coke refills. And a Shamrock Shake. :) The book I have today though is Seriously Cheesy. Unfortunately it's 479 pages. I can't not finish it, because I haven't figured out who the killer is. Well, I think I have, but I have to see how it ends. But not because it's a good book. In fact, I think I could write this book. It's terrible writing. I still have about 100 pages to go, too. (Funnily enough, the cover says "New York Times best selling authors" and "Scariest Novel of the Year!" and I'm saying, it is Totally Cheesy.)

After we got home, she took a rest for one hour, and then we headed out to gymnastics. An hour later, I headed home for a bit, then went out to a birthday dinner with three other ladies at Olive Garden. Got home around 9 pm. Busy day! :)

Tomorrow I'm supposed to head from Kokomo to the Detroit area to the Chicago area and back home. I'll miss Friday Lunch for once, but right now I've eaten so much I'd probably be better off waiting until Saturday to eat again. :)

Shoot, I can't remember the Kaylee-isms of the day. I know there were a couple of them. Well, here's one. We were in the car, and Kaylee told me that she knows that the Road to Construction leads to hell, but she can't see it, so where exactly is it? I told her they aren't talking about a literal road, that you can't see it. So she wants to know how could she avoid the Road to Construction if it's invisible? Of course that would be the "Road to Destruction". I told her they aren't talking about a real road, but the path you take in life with the choices you make. Good choices versus bad choices. She decided that she wanted to make good choices and stay off of that Construction Road. :) I just thought that was odd and cute...
