Well, everything was closed today as far as banks, schools, and post offices, so that made my day eaiser. :)
I had a serious case of insomnia last night, and was up until 3 a.m. Which explains why I'm so tired at 10:47 p.m. when normally I'm quite awake up past midnight. Anyway.
This morning after I dragged myself out of bed, I got Kaylee ready, and we headed to Applebees for lunch. Leaving lunch, I went with Nathan in the Baron to MIE. It was IFR, about 5 miles and 400-500' at Kokomo, and better at Muncie with 9 miles and 800-900'. Picked up a little icing on the way out, not much to note, but got to play with the icing equipment on board and was happy to note it all worked properly. Nathan brought the Cheyenne back and Kaylee and I came back in the Baron. Picked up more ice on that trip. Kaylee was a good girl and sat there very quietly all the way home. :) I have to go practice some more approaches. That wasn't bad, but it's been awhile, and I need to do some more...
Thursday I'm flying to Oshkosh...and Wednesday I'm probably going to fly around and get some practice in, weather permitting.
Steve leaves around 8 a.m. tomorrow for California, and hopefully the guys have a great four day vacation. :)
