Well, today "the cousins" went home. They just left not too long ago. Kaylee of course cried and pouted, and grabbed Roadie and some donut holes and pouted on the couch for awhile. I finally had her take a nap since she'd been up WAY past her bedtime last night. I think she's still in there playing, not sleeping, but at least it'll help her wind down a little bit. It's always hard on her when her cousins leave!

This morning we had a brunch with eggs and sausage and bacon and toast and little fruit cups and OJ and milk. Then everybody played outside for awhile--it's a little warmer today and the sun is out, it's really a very pretty day. If tomorrow is too, I think I'm going to try to get some fall photos of Kaylee. The problem is she'll be so tired from a full day at school, just like today she's so tired from the weekend. I don't want circles under her eyes or to have to fight her to smile. :) We'll see, but if we don't hurry, there won't be any fall leaves left to take photos with!

Last night, Rania, Morgan and Kaylee practiced and then performed a ballet dance for us. It was really lovely, so I made them promise to do it again today before they left, which they did. This time I got it on video. I wish I could put it up on my website. Maybe I'll get it on dvd form and then be able to do that. Morgan and Rania are very lovely dancers, and while this was Kaylee's first actual "dancing lesson", she did pretty well too! She looked very graceful, actually. Monday I'm going to finally go in and sign her up for the dance lessons--she's wanted them for awhile and I put it off, but I'm not putting it off any more.

Well, I'm updating the photos on Kaylee's website. I have new ones from her Pumpkin Patch trip a couple of weeks ago that were up, and now I am currently saving off the photos from this weekend on a new page at http://www.kayleestants.com/photosoct06b.htm The page isn't ready yet, but by the time anybody reads this it should be...

I'm cleaning up. You know, doing laundry, putting bedding away, putting the Futon back in order, vacuuming up dead leaves, picking up toys, that kind of stuff. Once you get things "in order" in your house, you hate to let it go to pot again--at least for a little while. I'd like a few days where the living areas actually look neat and straight before chaos reigns. :)

Going to hit some football here, check on Kaylee, relax a bit, maybe declutter some more toys; Go visit Kaylee's site for the new photos!
