Woke up this morning, got Kaylee off to School, headed to the post office, then straight out to the office. Nobody was there yet--Steve was working super early on a computer job and Chuck had flown to Muncie to help a guy pick up the 172. So I dragged out the Citabria and flew it over to Kokomo and did over an hour's worth of landings. Wheel landings, 3-point landings, crosswind landings. Heard Chuck coming back from Muncie, headed back into Glenndale. Talked with some people for awhile, signed up a "new" guy for the club, and we all went to Dale Etherington's church for lunch. Chicken & Noodles, yum! Headed back to Glenndale, and Chuck and I delivered a few more fliers about the BBQ Bash, to Delphi and Logansport. I about fell asleep on the way home...I get back to Glenndale, hop in the car, fetch Kaylee from school, and Kaylee falls asleep in the back seat of the car while I'm driving a laptop out to Merrell Bros. for Steve. Get back to Glenndale with Kaylee to fly with a guy, it doesn't end up happening, so I run to the store to pick up salad and dessert for tonight, and drop off the airport bills at the mass mail place. Get home, storm clean the house (aka pick up and hide the mess), and sit down for 10 minutes before company arrives. It's 11:30 now, they've just gone home for the night...she's ill unfortunately. I'm just pooped, so I'm headed to bed shortly.
Oh, and the air purifier I bought? We set it up and used it for the first time last night, and it gets two thumbs-up from both Steve and I. The noise of it can be silent all the way up to great white noise, and it WORKS. The air in the room feels and even smells clearer. May sound dumb, but neither of us would admit it to the other lest the other think it was a placebo effect. But it's true. You walk in and you can tell an immediate difference. I'm impressed. I wish it would work in the whole house, but buying one that will work on the whole house costs an arm and a leg. Only problem is, for the smaller ones, I'd really rather have one in Kaylee's room too--but I don't want to give it up in MY room. Neither do I want to spend the $$$ to buy another one. *sigh* I think she'll benefit from it too. It's really nice in a sleeping room...We got an Alen T300. Excellent!!
