Kaylee headed off to school with her homework in hand, and had a good day. All "pluses" on her assignments and work again. :)

I hit the post office, the bank (where I had a great deposit for SMA Support!), finished up the house billing, sent out checks for funeral costs aid for two SMA children (*sigh*), organized my "inbox" of actual paperwork, answered a few emails, then headed to Glenndale, hit lunch at Applebees with Chuck & Steve & Nathan, went back to Glenndale and worked on BBQ Bash things (the inflatable jumpy things Kaylee loves, letter to the FAA, sign-up sheets for workers, etc.) Ran home, got Kaylee, worked on her Awanas stuff (The Pledges), which she did just great, fixed supper for her, dropped her off at Awanas, went to Mike's Pizza to join Steve for supper. Finished there, ran home for 30 minutes to work some more, then ran back out to pick up Kaylee. She'd done it, she said her pledges just fine, and only has one more section to complete before she can get her manual and uniform. Her team didn't win tonight but she was okay with that because she won a prize for hitting a glass with her quarters in a contest they had.

Steve got the billing done so tomorrow I need to fold, sort, stuff, lick, and mail all that out, do the port-o-potties and the potato chips for the BBQ Bash, and fly a plane to Muncie for repair.

Oh, on the way home from Awanas tonight, Kaylee asked me to stop at Steak & Shake and get a shake. I said no. She whined. I told her to stop right there and not say another word. We got almost home and she busted out with this: "Mommy, I don't want to say 'i hate you' because I don't, but I need to just get it out of me, and I don't want to say it behind your back, but I need to get it OUT!" I blinked a few times, then said "Wait until we get home, and then you may go to your room, and if you need to get out something, you can get it out there. I don't want you speaking to me that way, even if I appreciate you don't want to do it behind my back, either. Why don't you try to find a more positive way to get it out?" So we pull in the driveway and she says "Hurry Mommy!" Goes tearing out the door, runs into her room, and comes back out and says "I feel MUCH better now, thank you! I love you!" Ooookay. lol I'm not quite sure what to say to her about this one! I'm not sure whether to laugh or not laugh, either!
