Saturday

Today Kaylee and I went out to the airport, where the roller was there for the runway. We got our turn to roll the taxiway area after lunch, and she almost fell asleep on me. If I had a place for her to actually SIT on it comfortably, she'd have been out cold. :) Chuck and I flew a bit in the Citabria, and I spoke to a couple of interested people today. Steve flew most of the day. Oh, and Kaylee wrote me a letter when I left to go fly with Chuck, while she stayed behind with Steve. Here's a scan of it, because nothing is funnier than seeing this in person:

Now in case you need a translation, since she's not big into spelling or vowels yet, the note of "i lv you dnt fly vre mtch" has a heart, then actually says "I Love You Don't Fly Very Much" Steve wasn't there and she decided she wanted to write me that note on her own. I was kind of pleased, it's one of the first notes she's written ALL on her own that you can really tell what she's saying. It also cracked me up that she gets jealous of flying sometimes. She doesn't want to go usually, but she doesn't want ME to go either. Doesn't work that way dear! :) But I got a laugh out of it!

The cats seem to be doing fine now. Their doctor appointment is Monday. Wish me luck-I'm taking them both at the same time, alone. At least only one of them still has front claws...
