Kaylee

I hear something and want to write it down before I forget it, so here's this morning's quote. Kaylee was running around the living room playing with Dulce, and suddenly she stopped and said "Mommy! Come here! Can you feel how fast my heart is beeping?"

Today she stayed with Grandma & Grandpa for a few hours while I took a flight for Steve while he was in court. She's been playing a lot on websites lately, and I'm having trouble keeping up with finding new stuff for her to do that I don't have to go buy. She's pretty good with sites and stuff these days! Then Nicole came over and they played for about an hour, then she headed to VBS. It was funny, when I picked her up, I went downstairs and found all the kids sitting in chairs, and Kaylee at the front of the room holding a teacher's hand, praying out loud. She was doing the final prayer in front of the group, like it was no big deal, as one of the youngest kids there. I thought it was sweet. She told me all about the fun she had and the songs she learned, and then she told me that they played a game with Daniel and Lions. She said "I did good as Daniel, but I didn't do so good as the lion. You had to run and not let the kids get your tail, and my shoes kept sliding on my feet. But that's okay, I still did good as Daniel." She's a good girl...

Steve has court again tomorrow, and is hoping that's the end of his "service", but we'll see!
