Back to Earth

Well, the last two days were definitely back to Earth. Tuesday I spent at the office, actually. I like to do that now and then. Steve was flying all day, so I hung out with Chuck, answered the phone, etc. Today I spent mostly off the computer, cleaning. Our furniture is all still piled in our dining room, so I vacuumed the carpeting up there and then steam cleaned it. Moved some of the furniture back in place. Did the 7 loads of laundry I'd been waiting to catch up on until I could get into the dryer, and finally gave up and did it anyway. Have a bruise or two on my arm from fishing in the dryer at an odd angle. Got the sheets all done and all sorts of stuff! Got the spots out of our back carpeting too while I was at it. Missed about every phone call from every person who called today, and wasn't online after the afternoon. I've found it's good for me to be off-line now and then for a day or afternoon. I get more done and don't get as wound up about things I can't control.

Worked on about 45 medical files tonight, and now I'm going to catch up on my logbook. I must enter P-51 time, you know! :)

Tomorrow it's "Pack up" time for the Eureka trip, and finish a bit of cleaning, and probably go to Muncie to finally pick up the Baron (I hope!!)

Kaylee yesterday was complaining of a headache at the airport. I thought she was making it up to go home. Until she fell asleep in the car on the way home (NEVER happens), and then took a two hour nap, and woke up just burning up. Fever of 102 or better. I gave her some Tylenol, some supper, and she was up until midnight. Woke up feeling fine. This afternoon she said her ear hurt. No fever, but she WAS tired early again, and fell asleep right at 8 pm for once. Just now woke up 90 minutes later, coughing, as I type this. Oooooh, great. Grandma Johnson does not need exposed to a bug. Aw man. Okay, I will hope this is an ear infection or something, or NOTHING.

And that's life right now! Back to Earth, indeed! :)
